I volunteered to host a Christmas cookie/candy/bun making party at our house since our kitchen is relatively large (and because I'm lazy and don't want to go anywhere most of the time ;) We had Christmas movies playing on the TV, and Christmas music on the stereo....

Izzy was quite happy to help |

I'd say it was an "organized chaos" |

Izzy decided she didn't want to help anymore and would rather watch movies |

Here's Katie making chocolate covered pretzels |

And Laura decorating her spritz cookies |

Caroline and Lyndsey wanted to make caramels |
![]() |
Izzy and baby Henning played well together too....he was a big fan of the block |
![]() |
my contribution...buckeyes |
![]() |
and here's where the guys spent the day |
![]() |
yup....you guessed it....watching football |

Caroline also made Lucia buns, which are traditional Swedish breads at Chistmas |
![]() |
they require a lot of hands-on time, but they're worth it |
![]() |
we took a break to watch A Charlie Brown Christmas |

We had only planned on a few hours, but everyone ended up staying all day, so we ordered pizza |

then back to the buns... |
