Izzy's tubes

WARNING...THIS POSTING IS PICTURE-INTENSIVE!!!

Ok, so I took 150 photos (give or take a few) of this milestone, and I've wittled it down to these. I still can't believe how GOOD she was!

We were scheduled to be at the surgery center at 6:00am (that's just a stupidly ridiculously early time for ANYONE), and we pretty much got right in. Unfortunately, we had to wait until 7:00 for the doctor to arrive (didn't quite understand that), so we had LOTS OF TIME TO KILL! She was pretty quiet and subdued for most of it, but the last 10-15 minutes or so she had enough. Great nurses, great doctor, great outcome!!!!
checking out the fish tank in the waiting room

time to change into her gown

she has this look on her face that says, "what the heck is THAT???"

But she looks pretty darn cute in it, doesn't she?

She looks verrrry suspicious....

Here's her nurse putting her id bracelet on. Very nice woman!

She wasn't quite sure about the pulse-meter though

A cute smile for her pappa

Ahhh! You see that??? It's MEEEEEE in a photo with Izzy!!! I'm reading her the same story...

Ok, now she's REALLY suspicious

Here's Stripey...she's become quite fond of him....

And her orange crocs. Threw an absolute fit when we tried to take them off, so Joacim's putting them back on her..

Now she's reaching the end of her limits...

I have no idea what this face is, but I'm so glad I got it!

Ok, they're ready to take her now!

Sniff sniff...off she goes...

Heck, I didn't even have a chance to think about it! It was over before I knew it, and she wasn't all that happy when we got back to her. Definitely not as bad as they said she'd be, but not all that great either

But she was VERY snuggly....

After we got home, we had a couple of failed nap attempts, but she was finally able to get 3 or so hours, and she woke up a brand new kid!
