Sun dogs and a little bit o'randomness

Here was the amazing view I had when I drove to work this morning:

I had no idea what this crazy beautiful phenomenon was until I consulted Google.  Here's what Wikipedia told me:

A sun dog, mock sun or phantom sun, scientific name parhelion, is an atmospheric phenomenon that creates bright spots of light in the sky, often on a luminous ring or halo on either side of the sun

Blah blah blah....all I know is that it was beautiful!  Here's a few more photos that others captured.

Sunny day = happy dog

The shoe pile in our hallway is taking over!!!  An end to the madness had to be near!!!

And the following video of Izzy is AWESOME!  We have quite the little performer on our hands, but she always stops when she knows I'm taking picture/video, so I had to sneak up on her.  I tell you, this video makes it all worth it.  Enjoy!!!

A few more songs from today...

Izzy and Joacim had a rough start to the day....she threw up all over him. Yeah, glad I wasn't on the receiving end of THAT one. After I went to work to get my safety shoes (ugh) I came home and stayed with her.

I was doing a lot of photo editing today. I had a TON of photos from the weekend to process and I actually got it all done. Maybe because Izzy was on the floor doing this:

And after she woke up from her nap, she blessed me with these songs...

This one is called "You play drums"
And here we have another rousing rendition of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star"

a couple of videos

Izzy has REALLY started making a lot more noise around the house. Several people ask if she's speaking Swedish....well, sometimes she does, but she definitely understands it. Here she is saying "no no no" in Swedish....

In this video she's singing "E-I-E-I-OOOOOOO". I guess this is a song or a CD they listen to at daycare (and nope, it's not Old MacDonald). She sings this EIEIO song ALL THE TIME...and it never gets old....
