So, funny little story to tell.  We were having dinner tonight and Izzy wants some ketchup.  Mind you, she's eating bread with marmalade and little cheese (i.e. shredded cheese).  Yeah yeah, not the most nutritious, but it's been a long day and I'm just happy she's not screaming right now :)

Here's our conversation:

Izzy:  I want ketchup!!!

Me:  On what? (thinking she's going to tell me what food she wants me to put the ketchup on)

Izzy:  My plate.  (aha...little one...very very clever :)

Me:  What are you going to eat it with? (again, I'm thinking food, right)

Izzy:  My spoon.  (Yes, deadpan delivery, and all I could do was laugh.  She totally outsmarted me this time, which I'm sure is the first of many many times to come :)
