Polar Express

So, over Thanksgiving weekend, we took Izzy on the Polar Express train in Connersville. We went with my friend Rebecca, her husband Ken and daughter Hannah. The train is an old steam engine...nothing fancy but it was sooo fun! They served hot chocolate and cookies and the kids all dressed in the pj's.

The train would periodically stop for "caribou", and there were hobo's along the route. Halfway through, we stopped at Santa's workshop, and Santa and one of his elves got on our train and asked all the kids what they wanted for Christmas. This was Izzy's response :)

Yeah, not so much a fan of Santa this year..well, terrified would be more like it! And here we are after our train ride was over, standing in front of the engine. It was a great evening!
