20-week Ultrasound!!!

Alright, so I've been saying that I'm going to start this blog at some point, so I guess that's now. I've just been waiting for something good to start off with, and I finally have it. We just got back from our 20 week ultrasound, and have photos to share with all!!!!!!!!!
We went to a high-risk OB/GYN due to my kidney disease, more for a precautionary measures than anything else. Unfortunately, while we were in the waiting room, a fairly young girl came out crying, and said, "I guess that's why they wanted to see me so soon....my baby has Down Syndrome". Well, both Joacim and I were a little freaked out by that, and I just felt so bad for her. I mean, we were there for a happy event, and I knew that, no matter what any blood tests have said, that we would be at a high-risk OB at this point anyway.

Luckily, everything with this little Trunk is great! The baby weighs 11 oz right now, and was pretty active durimg the ultrasound. It was incredible to see his/her little arm move up and down. We stuck with our decision to not find out the sex of the baby, and I'm really glad we did!!! It will be such a great surprise for us!!!
Anyway, enough of my babbling...on with the photos!!!!

Here's one of the baby with his/her left arm up by his/her head:

After the ultrasound was done, I was asking the technician if the machine could do the high-resolution photos as well, and she said that it could. She then offered to do one for us since we were the last patient of the day. Now granted, it's a bit difficult to make anything out since the baby wasn't laying in the correct position, but here's a little glimpse:

I have more photos, but most of them are like looking at hieroglyphics. Just wanted to share the good news with everyone and start this thing off right!!!

Hi Jennifer!
Nice to hear that everything is great with the little Trunkbaby! We also went to the ultrasound (today!) and our little baby-Gwen Teresa Morris Trunk is looking so cute and is doing fine in my belly! Yes, it´s a girl! She´s 19 weeks now. Take care and say hi to Joacim! Love

Hi Jenn and Yoacim,

Love the pictures and I am so amazed!
My best wishes to all!

Hope I can get this figured out so you can read this. My brain is so taxed anymore with the tech stuff.

Enjoy,
