26 weeks

My belly feels like its getting bigger and bigger and bigger!!! And the scariest part is that I still have 3 months to go!!! My stomach is going to be the size of a double-decker bus by the time this is all done!!!!

Heartburn is my constant companion, but I have a doctor's appt. on Thursday, so hopefully he'll be able to give me something to ease the burn. I have a glucose tolerance test as well, but I think everything will turn out fine.

We're planning on ordering the nursery furniture tomorrow, and we finished up the registry last week. I scheduled all of the childbirth classes last week too, so it seems as though everything is falling into place. I think I'll feel much better once we have the nursery furniture set up. Then we can just coast.....

25 weeks

I can't believe another week has gone by already! We went to Babies R Us again today for Round 2 of the baby registry. I gotta tell you...it's a lot harder than i thought it would be. I mean, you don't want to get a bunch of stuff you'll never use, but it's really easy to get caught up in everything too! It's a good thing that I can change things online!

Joacim had to work all weekend long, so it's pretty much been me and the Murph hanging out. He's actually trying to snuggle right now, and making it a bit difficult to type. I think he's going to be such a great dog when the little Trunk comes home. My friend, Rebecca, is letting me borrow a baby doll that makes all kinds of noises...to get Murphy used to the sounds. We have it laying in the Pack and Play that I set up in the nursery this week, and he looks so confused whenever it makes any noise. It's actually pretty funny!

I do have some pretty great news to report as well. I just found out Friday that I got promoted at work!!! It's nice to know that all of the hard work has gotten noticed and paid off. I have to tell you that I was pleasantly surprised when my boss told me, but over the moon too!!!!! It's going to be a long week, workwise, so I guess I better head off to bed.

Soooooooo, I've had some requests for a belly shot, so here it is. This was taken tonight, and it's me at 21 weeks...

Now we're just sitting here (we - as in Murphy and me) watching TV. Joacim left for New York today, and he'll be gone for two weeks. I'm freaking out!!! It's never enjoyable when he's gone, but especially now. He's been so helpful since I found out I was pregnant..he walks Murphy pretty much exclusively, cleans the kitty litter every day, and all of the heavy lifting. Not to mention the backrubs as of late (seems like the back pain is starting to kick-in a littler earlier than I thought :)
